Sweepstakes Entry Declarations & Official Rules — United States
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
This sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by ACi Support Services Limited, trading as the Association of Corporate Investigators (“ACi,” “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”), a company registered in the United Kingdom with its registered office at Kemp House, 152–160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
2. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes opens at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Sunday, 12 July 2026 and closes at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesday, 14 July 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be considered. ACi’s server clock will be the official timekeeper.
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, and who are employed in a corporate investigations, compliance, risk, legal, security, or related professional capacity. Employees, officers, and directors of ACi, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and household members, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
During the Entry Period, complete and submit the entry form at [competition entry URL], providing all requested information. Limit of one (1) entry per person. Multiple or duplicate entries from the same individual will be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means, or submitted through any third party, are void.
5. The Prize
One (1) winner (the “Winner”) will receive one (1) free registration on ACi’s Certified Corporate Investigator course (the “Prize”), including course materials and exam entry, with an approximate retail value (ARV) of US$1,100. Total number of Prizes available: one (1).
The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.
ACi reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value.
The Winner is solely responsible for any travel, accommodation, meals, or incidental costs associated with attending the course unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
The Winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period, within five (5) business days of the close of the Entry Period, and will be notified by email using the contact details provided at entry.
The potential Winner must respond within five (5) business days of notification. Failure to respond within that period, or failure to satisfy any eligibility requirement, may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries, at ACi’s sole discretion. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
7. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
8. Taxes
The Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the Prize. It is the Winner’s responsibility to report the value of the Prize to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as required by law.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited, acceptance of the Prize constitutes the Winner’s consent for ACi to use their name, city and state of residence, professional title and employer, likeness, and statements about their experience for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law. Any such use for commercial purposes may be subject to a separate written release where required by applicable state law.
10. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release and hold harmless ACi, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) incomplete, late, misdirected, or garbled entries; (b) any technical failure of any kind, including malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software; or (c) any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes.
11. Privacy
Personal data submitted with an entry will be used by ACi to administer the Sweepstakes, notify the Winner, and, where consent has been given, for future marketing communications, in accordance with ACi’s Privacy Policy. Residents of California and other states with applicable privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA) may have additional rights regarding their personal data; requests can be directed to admin@my-aci.com.
12. General Conditions
ACi reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, or these Official Rules, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond ACi’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by ACi in its sole discretion.
ACi reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
These Official Rules cannot be altered by any verbal or written information issued by ACi that is not stated within this document.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of this Sweepstakes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and participants consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Winner List and Rules Request
For the name of the Winner or a copy of these Official Rules, send an email to admin@my-aci.com, referencing “Certified Corporate Investigator Course Sweepstakes.” Requests must be received within three (3) months of the end of the Entry Period.
