Ash Sharma has over 20 years’ experience in investigations and financial crime risk mitigation. Ash presently manages one of two global investigation hubs for Anglo American Plc, a global mining, minerals and extraction company. His team conduct corporate ethics and compliance (including regulatory and financial crime) investigations. Ash has worked in the UK and Asia in regional and group roles for a global bank. There, he headed up an internal fraud risk, background vetting and investigation function, before leading and coordinating global significant investigations for the group. Ash is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Financial Crime Specialist, and Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator.

Prof. Sharon Oded leads the Regulatory, Compliance, and Investigations practice at Norton Rose Fulbright in Amsterdam, where he is renowned as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to multinational corporations and financial institutions. Janneke De Smet-Dierckx, Pioneer, Anti-Money Laundering Authority
With over 30 years of experience in the anti-money laundering (AML) field, Janneke has developed vast expertise and leadership in combating financial crime, having worked in both the private and public, national and international, sectors. Janneke has been one of the pioneers at AMLA in Frankfurt since February 1, contributing to the establishment of the Authority. After studying Tax and Corporate Law, her journey in AML began when she authored in 1994 “How to Launder Your Money”, a work in which she reflects upon money laundering methods with the motto “You only see what you know”. The first 15 years of her career were spent in the private sector as a tax lawyer and senior strategic AML consultant. At the Deloitte firm until 2008, she led the Dutch Legal Advisory Services, a team of 50 legal professionals, and offered strategic counsel to clients in navigating complex financial crime regulations. This was followed by 15 years in public service, including her last role as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor at the National Public Prosecutor’s Office for attacking organized crime and AML, where she has been in office since February 2020.

Shon Ramey, Chief Legal Officer, NAVEX
Shon Ramey has focused his legal career on corporate law and regulatory and compliance matters. In more than 25 years of practice, he has managed corporate law departments and counseled multi-national corporations on transactional and compliance matters. As NAVEX’s lead counsel, he is responsible for the legal department and provides direction and oversight to the human resources and global privacy functions. Shon previously served as general counsel for various publicly traded and private companies, with concentrations in technology and energy. Shon has also been a partner or senior counsel in some of the world’s largest law firms, including Baker & McKenzie and SNR Denton (now Dentons). Shon is a graduate of Park University and the University of Virginia School of Law.

Jasper Smidtman, TD SYNNEX
Jasper’s career has taken him from the Dutch government to a major energy company to his current role at TD SYNNEX, where he leads the investigation function. His extensive experience includes criminal investigations into theft, fraud and homicide, as well as corporate investigations involving employee misconduct, money laundering and fraud. He has conducted bribery and corruption investigations in both capacities, which offers valuable insights. He has used his investigation and interview experiences to develop investigation frameworks, investigator training programs and build a community of internal investigators.

Sebastiaan Biesheuvel, Senior Legal Counsel, ASML
Sebastiaan Biesheuvel is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in corporate ethics, regulatory compliance, and investigations. Currently serving as the Chief Ethics Officer a.i. and the Head of Ethics Investigations at ASML’s Legal & Compliance Department, he leads efforts to uphold business integrity and advises on potential Code of Conduct violations. With a strong background in anti-money laundering and sanctions from his previous role at Rabobank, Sebastiaan has honed his skills in navigating complex regulatory environments and fostering a culture of integrity across organizations. He holds dual Master’s degrees in Criminal Law and Civil Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His commitment to ethical practices and compliance makes him a valuable contributor to discussions on corporate governance and integrity in the business landscape.

Gabriela is an experienced Ethics & Compliance executive and currently serves as Group Head of Ethics & Compliance at VEON, overseeing Investigations and AML. With over 20 years of experience in banking, mining, extractive, and technology industries, she is known for integrating ethics into business strategy to foster trust and growth. Gabriela specializes in compliance frameworks for complex regulatory environments and high-risk jurisdictions, with expertise in anti-corruption, third-party risk management, AML, M&A due diligence, and training programs. Andrew Reeves, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright LLP
Andrew Reeves is a disputes and investigations lawyer based in London, specialising in major investigations, compliance and litigation matters. He leads our commercial litigation and investigations team in London and co-heads our EMEA investigations and compliance group. Andrew advises corporates, financial institutions and senior executives on multi jurisdictional bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, market abuse and regulatory investigations and related litigation. His deals with SFO, FCA, PRA and NCA investigations, as well as matters involving the DOJ, SEC, RCMP and authorities globally. He has a particular focus on Africa and Asia. Andrew also has deep experience of conducting risk assessments, designing and implementing compliance programmes, conducting M&A due diligence and post-acquisition compliance integration, and conducting whistleblower and other speak up and internal investigations. He has a particular specialism in bribery and corruption and fraud matters, including the new UK failure to prevent fraud offence.

Mr. Brosnan joined KLDiscovery in November 2018 as the Client Service Manager for our Irish office and is now based in Germany. In his current role as an Advisory Consultant, he collaborates with clients across Europe on eDiscovery projects, offering strategic guidance and technological expertise. Prior to joining KLDiscovery, Mr. Brosnan served as Head of the eDiscovery and Forensics Department at the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. During his tenure, he led several high-profile dawn raids across Ireland and Europe, working closely with the EU Commission and other regulatory authorities. His extensive experience also includes 15 years at Deloitte and KPMG, where he contributed to some of the most notable eDiscovery and forensic cases supporting criminal and civil prosecutions across Europe.

Roeland de Wit is Head of Integrity & Regulatory Affairs at ABB, a global technology company in electrification and automation based in Switzerland, where he leads the global integrity team and program of their Motion Business Area. Roeland has 20 years of extensive experience in Integrity & Compliance, both in designing and managing programmatic aspects of compliance programs and in leading internal investigations. Prior to joining ABB in 2020, he worked at AkzoNobel in the Netherlands. He is a leader focused on delivering high quality work in challenging circumstances and operating at pace with grit and range. Tom Hardin, “Tipper X”
From 2008 to 2012, Tom Hardin, a then-little-known hedge fund analyst in New York City, secretly assisted the FBI in exposing insider trading on Wall Street. As the youngest individual implicated in the sting operation, and known by his FBI code name “Tipper X,” Tom wore a covert wire to help agents take down major players in what became the largest Wall Street cleanup of a generation.
In 2016, the FBI invited Tom to share his experience with their rookie agents. Today, he is a global keynote speaker, corporate trainer, and board advisor specializing in behavioral ethics, compliance, and organizational culture and conduct risk. His life story is the subject of his forthcoming book, to be published by Wiley in February 2026.
